New World Montessori School is owned and operated by the wife and husband team of Diane Gorychka and Bill Hansen. Bill Hansen is a high school teacher of theatre and language arts for the past nineteen years having earned his bachelor’s degree in education. Previous to his work in education he worked in the business field in security operations and management.  Bill provides accounting and financial services to the school. Diane Gorychka worked in the public education sector for over twenty years serving as home visitor, teacher and program administrator.  She earned her bachelors and masters degree in education and holds a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction teaching license for prekindergarten - eighth grade and an administrative license as a principal. Her Montessori training was taken at the Washington Montessori Institute then housed in Washington, D.C.  She holds the Association Montessori Internationale diploma for Montessori teaching.  Diane is the administrator and teacher. Diane is currently serving on a board working to promote the development of a Montessori elementary program for parents in the Manitowoc and Sheboygan area.
